Commissioner’s Announcement – 2/28/21
The Commissioners of Poolesville want to announce that we have accepted the resignation of the Town Manager, Seth Rivard, effective Monday, March 1, 2021. We want to thank Mr. Rivard for his service to the citizens of Poolesville and wish him well in his future endeavors.
The Commissioners intend to immediately appoint Barbara “Bobbie” Evans, the Poolesville Town Clerk, as Acting Town Manager during our meeting on March 1, 2021. Further, the Commissioners are committed to hiring an interim Town Manager that can oversee Town operations and the important projects currently underway in our Community, while we conduct a thorough search for a permanent Town Manager.
We ask for the public’s patience and understanding during this transition period. Thank you.
